My first diary blog of 2019 – and it’s March!  Oh life has been busy at Baby Massage HQ!

There have been a couple of birthdays recently including the massive milestone of reaching age 3!  My littlest starts pre-school nursery and with this brings some changes to my baby massage timetable, including a new Tuesday afternoon class at the Glencorse Centre, starting on 23^rd April.  2019 has also seen the addition of a new venue for me with Thursday afternoon classes now taking place in the brand new Gorebridge Beacon.  The next five week courses in Gorebridge start on 21^st March and then 25^th April – both are already booking up fast.

Also new for 2019 is that I have started offering exclusive group bookings.  I’m currently teaching a lovely group of six friends in one of their homes in Edinburgh and last month I ran a bespoke Dads’ Workshop for six fathers whilst the mums enjoyed a leisurely brunch.  Do get in touch if you’d like to organised something similar for a group of at least five – there is a slight discount for a group booking and a 50% discount if one parent hosts the group.

Alongside all the usual baby massage classes, I’ve been very busy with my other company, Midlothian Ladies Club (MiLC).  We hosted our first (very successful!) business networking event – I love meeting other women running a range of different businesses.  And you might have heard me mention this once or twice, but we held our MiLC Launch Party in February to celebrate our new Social Enterprise status.  We were in the paper!

In addition to all of this, I have now started my volunteering role at the Ikea Breastfeeding Peer Support Group on Tuesday mornings.  The groups meets every week on the comfy sofas at the back of the café, 10.30-11.30am and I shall be there once a fortnight.

So what’s coming up….well, baby massage classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays obviously.  I’ve also got a couple of schools visits lined up to teach some Story Massage and Massage in Schools Programme and I’m also beginning to pull together plans for some family Story Massage sessions in the summer holidays.  And with Mother’s Day just around the corner, there’s a competition coming your way too so keep your eye on my Facebook page for details…
